James H. “Jim” Jordon joined Rockport Investment Partners in 2025, and provides business valuation, transaction advisory, and other consulting services. He has 30 years of experience in finance, providing business valuations for financial reporting, intellectual property, buy-sell agreements, federal tax, and other regulatory purposes.

Jim’s engagements have included assisting in both buy-side and sell-side consulting, transaction structuring, debt capacity analysis, and valuation studies. He has been qualified as an expert witness involving valuation and merger and acquisition (M&A) issues, including testifying and the preparation of expert reports used in state, federal, and The Hague International Court of Justice jurisdictions. Jim has made numerous presentations on valuation and M&A topics to various business and professional organizations.

Jim’s experience encompasses several industries, including energy and natural resources, chemicals, manufacturing and distribution, and healthcare. Before joining Rockport, Jim was a managing director at ForvisMazars for six years and Deloitte for 20 years, where he worked in valuation and the advisory practices. He also has prior experience as the managing editor of a nationally recognized business valuation publication and transaction database.
